Orion Nebula Take One

This is my first ever view of the Orion Nebula with my telescope! And I’m amazed at what I got after a long night. This only a single image unfortunately, and there are a ton of other mistakes, but it’s a record for me to compare progress over the coming summer. It was a beautiful night in Melbourne and Microsoft decided to take 3 hours to force an update, so I only started at midnight. On the left hand side that looks like the Running Man Nebula I think. Overall I am stoked. This kind of progress (slow yet) makes it all worth the effort.
