Controlling Large Screen Interaction via Bluetooth Enabled Phones

Abstract

Bluetooth has become a pervasive technology among tertiary students, which affords developers a large range of possibilities in allowing them to interact with systems. The focus of this paper is on allowing users to define their Bluetooth friendly names in an attempt to send input into and get output from public displays. Users are able to drive applications onto the display and also send inputs to the application. This therefore reduces the need to install custom software on a user’s phone thereby maintaining maximum compatibility across devices.
